Can Your Name Protect You From Evil Spirits?

Would you like your name to be Bad Dog, Sheep Skin or Nobody? These names are quite common in Mongolia and it is not meant to be a punishment for children.

Abusive names have their origins in strong belief in destiny or evil spirits in Mongolia. Children are given these names to be protected against the devil from stealing them.
Families where first child died usually named boy with girls name or other way around.
Typical were also names given an attribute with super powers like God Fear or Invincible Castle.
There is no proof that special names work but people in Mongolia are convicted it does.
