The Great Wall of China is a series of fortification made of stone, bricks and other materials. This 5000 km long barrier protected China against the raids and invasion of the various Nomadic groups.
The spectacular work of Ming Dynasty is very often referred to as the longest cemetery in the world.
400 000 men allegedly died during it´s construction - prisoners, war hostages, but also philosophers who were found with documents banned by Emperor.
