1. ROBERT THE DOLL

Robert Eugene Otto (1900 - 1974) is only four years old when he is given a 3-foot-four tall doll in a sailor uniform from a maid working in his family home in Key West (Florida, USA) . Robert the doll was seated in a chair in a future american artist's room.
Eugene's parents spoke about hearing the doll talking and even speak! Whenever Eugene gets into trouble his explanation is always the same:
Robert did it.Eugene Otto never leaves Robert, not even when he is an adult. And this company made him slowly lose his mind.
Robert the doll is said to be cursed by a maid with bahamian roots. Could this toy be some kind of voodoo doll?
Robert is now scaring the employes of East Martello museum. Local docent Goody Estevez says:
It is hard to explain, but i never touch him. Robert does not like to be touched
2. THE CRYING BOY

Portrait of the crying boy was painted after World War II by Giovanni Bragolin (1911 - 1981). Copies of this cursed painting are around the world. Only Great Britain itself sold 50 000 pieces.
On september the 4, 1985 British tabloids The Sun published article about undamaged copies of The crying boy were frequently found in the ruins of burned houses. Belief in a curse was so strong that The Sun organized mass bonfire to burn paintings sent in by readers.
Model for painting was supposed to be a boy - orphan - who was able to ignite fire only with his mind.

3. ACADEMY AWARD TROPHY
Do you wish to win Academy award? It might not be such a good idea considering sad stories about people who had this prestige trophy within reach. Australian actor Peter Finch (1916 - 1977) died from heart attack right after finishing the movie Network for which he won the award.
Cruel fate meets also many stars who were only nominees. Australian actor Heath Ledger (1979 - 2008) died from overdose, american idol James Dean (1931 - 1955) in car accident, Sidney Howard (1891 - 1939) is crushed by tractor.
All of them deceased right before winning this golden little statue.
4. EGYPTIAN MUMMY

In 1912 English journalist William Thomas Stead (1849 - 1912) decided to take this mummy of priestess of Egyptian god Amon-Rea on board of luxurious Titanic. He knows very well that previous owner had bad luck because Ra Djad-Mut ( nurse of the god Khonsu) is said to be cursed.
Stead mentioned the curse to couple of passengers. And it is no surprise that 14th of April when Titanic collided with an iceberg many blamed just the mummy.
Recently is this cursed artefact part of the Egyptian exhibit in British museum.
5. CRYSTAL SKULLS

Skull brings death to those who does not worship itsaid English adventurer F.A. Mitchell-Hedges (1882 - 1959) who was present when discovery of crystal skull was made in 1927 - Lubaatun, Belize.
Work of pre-Columbian Mesoamericans is supposed to be 3600 years old,
There are many to be found around American continent, but exact number is not known.
These crystal skulls are said to be cursed. Some of them even personified evil. They radiate such a strong energy that weak individuals can die.
These artefacts needs to be treated with respect.
6.MAORI WARRIOR MASKS

Maori are original inhabitants of New Zealand. They were using these masks while fighting. Maori believed that when the warrior died his soul will be reincarnated into beautifly carving mask.
On the other hand is not only soul connected to Maori masks. Human ( simply translated Maori) masks are cursed!
Women who is pregnant or menstruating while is she near the cursed relic will have a bad luck.
7.THE HOPE DIAMOND

Le bleu de France, as the Diamond is also called is said to be an eye from the statue of Hindu god Brahma. Jean Baptiste Tavernier, french traveller, gained it from indian slave. Marie Antoinette (1755 - 1793) wife of Luis XVI (1754 - 1793) wore it around her neck as well as her friend princess de Lamballe. Both of them died in very cruel way.
After that blue gem disappeared for a while.
Henry Thomas Hope bought it in 1830 and it bears his name - The hope diamond. He died very soon after that. Cursed diamond caused many bitter harms until 1949 when american jeweler Harry Winston purchased it and donated it to USA.
The hope diamond is is kept in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington.
